Okay, any suggestions...I can't live with this slow internet, but we can't get DSL in our area and I don't really want to pay the upfront money for hughes net. I have been trying to upload a picture for 20 min. I don't have that kind of time on my hands.
Quick update...
Allee is still feeling bad. We sent Aiden to NaNa Taylor's to try and stay well. I called today to make sure he was okay. I asked to talk to him. He asked NaNa was I coming to get him. She said, No, she just wants to talk to you. She said he grinned really big and THEN got the phone. Our conversation was quick because he was too busy having fun! No time to talk to MaMa on the phone.
Allee's new favorite movie is Toy Story. We have the VCR tape and I think it is going to break (maybe) from rewinding it. Everyday she says, "Can we watch Woody Mom?" It is so cute. But I caught her quoting it today. I think we have watched one too many times.
Evan has been really fussy all day. I think he senses Allee's sickness and knows my nerves can't handle it. He goes for a 2 month check up on Monday. That will mean we made a trip once a week to Dr. Rob's office for the 4 weeks in a row!

Youth Night
We had a busy weekend, as usual. This was the last weekend for Upward and we had scheduled picture day. I was sorta in charge of that. Thank goodness I found a great photographer! It was a bit chaotic, but I think I got the hang of it by the time we were finished. All that to say, I was at the FLC all day, so I hired a babysitter, because of the sicknesses my kids have had. Aiden seems to be better. Never would have known he had the flu the way he acted.
Sunday night was youth night at our church. The kids presented on their most recent trip to the Scott Dawson conference. It was really good. I can tell that everyone that went on the trip received a true blessing from God. Rick and Aiden sang the Veggie Tales song to the piano playing of Joseph Summerlin. It was really cute. Aiden recited his books of the New Testament, which makes MaMa really proud! I only hope he can remember them when he is big enough to look them up in the Bible. Allee has began memorizing them now. It is so cute to hear her pronounce them. She gets to Romans and then starts making them up the way they sound to her. I was so proud of all of our youth tonight. Kayla, Briana and Joseph all spoke about the conference and did a really good job presenting their material. Of course, we got to stuff our faces full of great food afterward.
Because it was youth night, we didn't take the kids out, so Allee and Aiden were a mess. Allee found my video camera and wanted to play with it. When I told her no, she started to cry, so I put my finger over her lips. She said, "Don't shut my mouth mama!" THEN, she and Shelby were fighting over the song books and she told Shelby, OUT LOUD, "That's mine", so I spatted her hand, which cause a loud cry while Mrs. Summerlin was trying to talk about a speaker at the conference. I decided to take her out. When I got up to take her out and got half way out the door (our door is at the front of the church) she started saying, "I poopied mommy." and kept repeating it. Of course, everyone was laughing at this point, but I went back for the diaper bag and of course she had NOT "poopied."
One more embarrassing thing...one of our younger children was playing a piano song. Just as the song was ending, Aiden blurts out, "Well, that was kinda silly." I don't think she heard him.
Allee has grown really fond of her rainboots that she got for Christmas. If any of you watch Noggin, and I know you do, you know the song that Laurie Beckman (??sp) sings...In my rain boots, I stomp around...Well, Allee's version goes, In my rain boots, I "tomp" around in my rain boots, in my boots, "tomp, tomp" It is just too cute. Thanks for the boots NaNa T. It is a fight every day not to wear them wherever we go!

Let's Catch Up
I am so embarrassed that it has been this long since I have blogged. Three kids and a slow internet access make it almost impossible to find enough time. I don't really have the time now, but a quick note. You probably won't get pictures for a little while, until I catch up, because it will take forever and a day to upload them.
Let's see, since my last blog, we have had V-day, and a whole lot of sickness! Allee started us off 2 weeks ago, followed by Aiden, then me, then Evan, then Aiden with the FLU this week and now Rick with sinus and taking flu meds, just in case! Wow! We have had a go of it!
However, Rick and I did manage a wonderful V-day in the midst of it all. He suprised me by PLANNING, yes, I said HE planned... a night away. Literally. He arranged babysitters and we went to the Outback, along with the rest of Tuscaloosa County and then away for some romantic rest and relaxation. My sickness had just started, so our night ended with...are you ready for this...me lying in bed while Rick ran out to Wal-Mart for a humidifier and vicks vapor rub. When he returned at 9:30, I was out like a light! We had a great time! I have a wonderful husband who I love very much!
Allee got a new potty and new big girl pants, but it hasn't seemed to help very much. She just has no desire to use the potty. Maybe soon!
We have a new kitty, well, sometimes. NaNa Jan and PaPa M.C gave us a cat, but it only comes home at night to eat, so I never know if we have a cat or not. Her or His name is Prissy. We haven't seen it enough to know what it is, but from the roaming, I think it's a boy.
Evan is growing like a weed. He is sleeping better, only getting up once at night, which is good in my history with babies. He is looking more and more like Rick every day. He has started "playing" with us some and making little coos. I love when babies do new things.
God has blessed us so much. I have finally gotten back on track with my devotions. I started a new book my Beth Moore that I got for Christmas. It is a study on Jesus and thus far we have focused on Mary. It makes me think of how unworthy I am as a human and especially a woman. I mean, would God have ever even considered choosing me to be the mother of the Christ child. I don't think so! I know we can't be perfect, but my goal is to be Godly and I pray that I will be the Godly mother my children need. God has blessed me to get to stay home, and I pray that I will be the right example, not just a housekeeper!
More to come....pray I have time soon to get back on track!

Proofs are available
Evan's proofs are on-line at Kim's Photography. Click on the web site to view. http://kimlawsonphotography.com/gallery.php?page=Taylor
This week has been crazy. Evan is 6 weeks old now and I can't believe it. It's like you look back and wander what you have been doing for 6 weeks and then you say, oh yeah...changing diapers, pumping, feeding, washing bottles and clothes!
Please pray for us. Aiden has been giving us a run for our money and making me question my parenting skills. He had been really acting out and back talking and not minding. Of course we are disciplining him, but it doesn't seem to make a difference for the next time he decides to act ugly. I can't seem to get through to him and he treats me way worse than his daddy. Of course, I am hormonal as well, so that makes it worse.
Allee is being her usual self. She is so funny. I think the girl could eat all day long if I would let her! She wakes up asking for food. She is just like her daddy!

Busy Weekend
Well, as usual, we have had a busy week and weekend. The week seemed to run all together with keeping three kids in the house and the usual weekly duties. I planned to take Evan to Kim's for pictures on Saturday. I also planned to clean house. 1 out of 2 isnt' bad. We had Upward BK Sat morning, so I took the kids over to the gym to run off some energy. Then it was off for the photo shoot. Kim did great with Evan. It was so nice to be relaxed at a friend's house with your crying, hungry newborn rather than in a stuffy studio with a stranger waiting on you to change the baby and rushing you because someone else was waiting to get pics made. It was a little hectic, but overall, I think he did great for his first photo shoot.
Sunday was busy as usual, with great morning and evening services. The Lord has really been working in our church and family. We had a family join the church today. They are a joy to have. It seems more and more lately that we are being challenged as Christians to reach out into the world and be better witnesses. I have really been convicted on reaching others. We all get caught up in what is going on in our world and forget about the world that is lost and goind to Hell. So, if you don't know Him, and I mean truly know Jesus personally, please ask someone to help you find Him. You will never regret it for one moment. I know my life has been amazing since the day I rededicated myself to Christ and vowed to follow Him, no matter the cost. I am not saying my life has been perfect, because it is far from it, but it has been fulfilling. Jesus Christ has given me peace beyond belief. I would never have had the faith to quit my job and stay home with my children before and here I am. ... I cleaned out my desk on Friday. (Please pray for my decision and pray that I would be the Godly mother at home that I need to be.) God is so good at giving us what we need when we need it. He loves us more than we could ever imagine and gave us His one and only son to prove that love. So, if you don't know Him, what are you waiting for? Don't waste another second on living without Him. If you do, may he bless you and give you strength to go into the world reaching the lost for Him.
